Spiritual Courage to biblically Fear God as His adopted son, daughter, friend

Part - 4/4   The Courage to Biblically Fear God

It comes from Implanted Agapous Agape Philio - the great clues in Scripture -

1. John 17 : 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love<26> wherewith thou hast loved<25> me may be in them, and I in them.

2. 2nd Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

3. John 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

4. Hebrews 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared

James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity <26>, which is the bond of perfectness.

The love <25>, <26>, <5384>, <1656> that is from Father God was implanted into the human nature that Christ took into Himself. Hebrews 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Born with a sin damaged human with the ability to fall, the ability to decide to sin and yield to selfishness and temptation, filled with the hunger to Know God and help and bless others, and reject sin. John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.   Father God kept Him till He was old enough to seek after God

His natural self is I AM THAT I AM, Creator of all things, speaking worlds and the universe into existence, He was not allowed to live like that and wielding power on Earth, but living by utter faith as people must do. Where did He get the <25> agapous, <26> agape, <5384> Philio, <1656> eleos that He displayed by living it out toward all people He contacted ?

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

<25> agapous, <26> agape, <5384> philio, <1656> eleos - does not come from human nature, only from God, and His divine abilities and internal personal power He was forbidden to use. In His revealing to others how follow Him, He tells how He followed Father God, and obtained all things needed from Father God, put Himself in position to receive them, and be directed by Father God how to use what He was given. He preserved that union from Earth and as He did Father God strengthened and worked in and through Him from Heaven.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

wealth was not an idol to Job or Abraham, but it was to this rich young ruler. The call to Apostleship was given him, but he sold himself to his earthly possessions.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

I found the way to get the attitude of the Divine gift of Godly love the undergirding nature of what the “golden rule” is,  implanted in me. The Golden Rule is Jesus Christ's explaining how this love is focused and what it considers and what it does.  It is part of a bigger Scripturally Obedient picture. It is not something any person either has or does not have, it is a gift from above. Therefore anyone can get it if they do these basic things.

1. Ask for it in prayer several times a day (even quietly from the heart, while working - without speaking, Heaven hears)

2. Pray till you really want it, at first it is usually prayed without much desire to get it, prayer changes the person praying - the concept “fake it till you make it” - works. Keep asking till it is desired and it happens.

3. Act as though you have it already, after asking for it, the Red Sea and the Jordan River didn’t open till people stepped into the edge of the water.

4. If you have a family, get them all joining you in asking, and acting on it; everyone will get the similar attitude = happy family unity - otherwise only you will get the attitude and they won’t = family disunity.

This is generically what I asked for after reading the quote below. Please cause my self to be merged in Christ, please implant and cultivate in me the impulse to help and bless others constantly, please cause the sunshine of heaven to fill my heart and is revealed in my countenance. I asked this 3 times a day - and started acting as though I had it and thanking Heaven for receiving it - then started progressively getting it . The internal benefits are long lasting.
This transcends ideologies, anyone can have it. The Golden Rule process is for sharing freely.

Acts 10:
34 ¶ Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (Biblically name = character)

“The sanctification of the soul by the working of the Holy Spirit is the implanting of Christ's nature in humanity. Gospel religion is Christ in the life--a living, active principle. It is the grace of Christ revealed in character and wrought out in good works. The principles of the gospel cannot be disconnected from any department of practical life. Every line of Christian experience and labor is to be a representation of the life of Christ. {COL 384.1}

Love is the basis of godliness. Whatever the profession, no man has pure love to God unless he has unselfish love for his brother. But we can never come into possession of this spirit by trying to love others. What is needed is the love of Christ in the heart. When self is merged in Christ, love springs forth spontaneously. The completeness of Christian character is attained when the impulse to help and bless others springs constantly from within--when the sunshine of heaven fills the heart and is revealed in the countenance. {COL 384.2}

It is not possible for the heart in which Christ abides to be destitute of love. If we love God because He first loved us, we shall love all for whom Christ died. We cannot come in touch with divinity without coming in touch with humanity; for in Him who sits upon the throne of the universe, divinity and humanity are combined. Connected with Christ, we are connected with our fellow men by the golden links of the chain of love. Then the pity and compassion of Christ will be manifest in our life. We shall not wait to have the needy and unfortunate brought to us. We shall not need to be entreated to feel for the woes of others. It will be as natural for us to minister to the needy and suffering as it was for Christ to go about doing good. {COL 384.3}”

  1. The Love implanted by God is what constitutes godliness, Peter's Ladder ( 2nd Peter 1;1-12 shows the facets or components of what composes that love and keeps it a complete unbroken whole. ) These are the components involved in Christ's command - " John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."

learning to obtain from God.......... precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Grace and peace through knowing God, and of Jesus our Lord, and all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Learning to obtain and cultivate diligence, and using that diligence to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus will mediate your salvation it's promised right there in 2nd Peter chapter 1.

What is in 2nd Peter ch 1 is how Christ has loved us, all the steps His experience has went through in union with Father God, building the facets of the love that He has loved us with, and the actions that love needed Him to take in our behalf.
